The main raw material of candle is paraffin wax (c25h52), which is a mixture of several alkanes, mainly n-Docosane (c22h46)  n-octacosane (c28h58), containing 85% carbon  14% hydrogen.

Our common candles are paraffin wax  soybean wax. Soybean wax is a natural plant wax.
